We believe it is important that children have an environment that encourages each child to be curious and creative while nurturing a sense of confidence and compassion. It is our desire to give all children a balanced learning environment with hands-on activities, as well as teacher-guided instructional time.

Teachers direct the learning experience by providing background information and introducing key vocabulary and concepts that children are not likely to learn on their own. Our experience has taught us that a child’s curiosity grows as they are engaged in purposeful “work” every day. This leads to increased confidence as they master the “work” in the classroom and are able to advance their skills to a higher level.

The Preschool at CCC is a Montessori-based school. The Preschool at CCC uses
ABEKA curriculum to supplement our Montessori curriculum. ABEKA has a phonics based reading curriculum which helps children learn to read at a younger age. We also use ABEKA worksheets to reinforce our Montessori hands-on math concepts.
